Lead Laboratory Equipment Technician

Job Purpose:
Support equipment division in providing quality refurbished laboratory equipment to customers.

Duties:

* Repair laboratory equipment including incubators, refrigerators/freezers, centrifuges, microscopes, autoclaves, and other equipment.
* Evaluation of newly received items.
* Assembly and disassembly of equipment including cleaning, refurbishing and trouble shooting.
* Perform preventative maintenance at customer locations as well as at BridgePath’s facilities.
* Perform equipment repair at customer locations as well as at BridgePath’s facilities.
* Forklift operation.
* Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related tasks to achieve department results as needed.

Skills/Qualifications:

* Mechanical Aptitude (auto repair, HVAC, appliance repair backgrounds)
* Previous laboratory equipment repair/service background a bonus but not a requirement
* Quality Focus, Problem Solving, Detail Orientation, Listening Skills, Multitasking, Self-motivated, High Energy, Willingness to Learn, Team Player
* Previous military highly encouraged to apply!

* Business will mentor the individual on repairing and refurbishing specialized equipment

Compensation:

* Hourly wage and benefits depend upon level of experience

Outside Sales Representative

Purpose:

A rapidly growing scientific products and equipment company is seeking outside sales representatives responsible for sale of molecular biology laboratory reagents. We are looking for a highly motivated professionals who will not take no for an answer. Must be a team player with a strong work ethic. Immediate openings in the Mid-Atlantic Capital region. Local travel required.

Duties:

  • Meet established sales targets
  • Represent company at Industry trade shows
  • Work in conjunction with team to maintain database leads and customer records
  • Customer demo and installs
  • Keep up with industry trends and competitive environment
  • Work with team to generate leads through a variety of channels

Skills/Qualifications:

  • 4 year degree
  • 1-2 sales experience preferred
  • Working knowledge of molecular biology
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Time management skills
  • Great communicator
  • Computer literate
