Outside Sales Representative – Southern California Region

Purpose:

A rapidly growing scientific products and equipment company is seeking outside sales representatives responsible for sale of new and refurbished laboratory equipment, preventative maintenance, laboratory build-outs, laboratory relocation, and equipment acquisition. We are looking for a highly motivated professionals who will not take no for an answer. Must be a team player with a strong work ethic. Immediate openings in the Southern California region. Local travel required.

Duties:

  • Meet established sales targets
  • Represent company at Industry trade shows
  • Work in conjunction with team to maintain database leads and customer records
  • Customer meeting
  • Keep up with industry trends and competitive environment
  • Work with team to generate leads through a variety of channels

Skills/Qualifications:

  • 4 year degree- preferred, not required
  • 1-2 sales experience preferred
  • Working knowledge of laboratory operations
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Time management skills
  • Great communicator
  • Computer literate
  • Prior military HIGHLY encouraged to apply

Expectations:

  • Individual has the desire to learn about the laboratory equipment business

Compensation:

  • Depending upon level of experience and track record
