The Molecular Devices SpectraMax L is a luminescence spectrophotometer. The system can be used with both 96-well and 384-well microplates. The spectrophotometer can be used to measure standard End-point and kinetic assays and can be upgraded to add programmable injectors and a barcode reader. The system comes with a Dell desktop PC with Windows and SoftMax Pro 7.12 control software. This unit has been fully tested by our scientific and engineering staff. Apart from some loss paint (on plate carrier) and minor scratches that do not affect function, the unit is in excellent condition and performs within specification when tested using a plate of absorbance standards.
